Let's get to know each other. I'll go first..

I've always had a hard time describing myself in just a few words. I am a generalist. With a varied skillset and a wide range of interests and passions.

Fitness. Music. Self-development. Surfing. Travel. Nature. Photography. Business. Lifestyle design. 

​

I have worked in the jungles of Costa Rica. Participated in a 10-day meditation retreat in northern California. Outran an attack dog on a motorbike in the backstreets of Baja, Mexico. Ran a marathon as a sophomore in college, then broke my ankle a week later. Paid off $90k of student loan debt in under 4 years on a $50k/yr salary.  Got dysentery, shit blood for 7 days, and survived.

I've been a grocery bagger, car parker, accountant, farmer, teacher, ice cream scooper, coach, meat slicer, pizza maker, builder, demolisher, paperboy (on rollerblades), retailer, busboy, bartender, server, painter, and lawnmower.

All before age 35.

I think outside of the box. Hell...I LIVE outside of the box. In this modern world of "specialists," I choose to stand alone in my uniqueness and try to provide value from my lived experience. Without all the fancy letters behind my name.

I'm an husband. Soon-to-be father. Athlete. Guitarist. Storyteller. Eagle Scout. College grad. Optimist. Friend.

Most importantly, I am a student...of life. Eternal seeker of truth.

My mission is to keep learning. Not by gathering evermore information...but by asking better questions.

 

That is why I created this website. To learn in public and highlight ideas worth sharing.
