It's all connected

Nothing happens in isolation.

Everything is connected to everything else.

Have a great workout but sleep only four hours? Muscle synthesis and recovery suffers.

Adhere to a strict calorie deficit 6 days a week but on day 7 you go on an 8000 calorie binge? The body keeps score and your waistline expands.

Dial in your nutrition & exercise but you spend all day under fluorescent lights and natural sunlight never touches your skin? Your metabolic, hormonal, and circadian systems are off track and fighting against you.

How you do one thing is how you do EVERYTHING.

If you want results to come quicker and be maintained, you must take a systems approach to your wellness.

Exercise. Food. Sleep. Programming. Mental state. Physical environment. Relationships. Sun exposure.

Each area should be optimized as best you can.

If you only focus on one and ignore the rest…it’s like bailing a sinking ship out with a Dixie cup as half the boat is missing.
