Can you look good AND feel good?

Building size for size sake will only take you so far.
I was a skinny kid in middle school and a life long soccer player, so I had endurance but no muscle size.
I started weight training after age 30 in order to change that. I realized we lose muscle as we age, so I better pack it on before I got too old.
What I learned through my fitness journey is that there is more to health and training than looking good in the mirror. What good are big muscles if they come with painful joints and a loss in nimble athletic movement?
I found @functionalpatterns and learned there is a way to train that respects human evolution. Now my strength gains support healthy functional movement that daily life requires.
Training rooted in function integrates forces that respect human anatomy and re-tension the body to be stable and resilient.
Don’t train for the mirror. Train for longevity and function.
